Jason and I last night were talking about how we can not believe that Macayla has been a part of our lives already for 1 month. She has changed so much since the first time we held her. Here are a few of the things that have happened in the last month:
- graduated from a sponge bath to a tub bath
- have grown in length and weight
- have gotten chubby cheeks :) (well compared to the beginning)
- gone shopping at the mall, Target, Walmart, JC Penny's
- gone out to dinner at Happy Joe's, Chilli's
- been babysat by Grandma Chris, Grandma Randi, Auntie Melissa, Auntie Tricia and Heather
- awake for more and more each day
- can lift my head for up to 1 minute
- can focus on an object for a few seconds at a time
- have started "cooing"
- had an "explosion" while daddy was trying to change my diaper...immediately followed by a bath!
- took a car trip to Oconomowoc

So glad you are writing about all these little milestones. Before long you won't believe the things she'll do and you will be glad you wrote about what it was like at the beginning. I still go back and look at my blog from Lillian's first weeks. It is so fun to compare the changes. I am so glad you brought her down to the party. She's adorable! Almost makes me want another one right away...I said almost!!! Haha.
Oh my gosh, she is SO CUTE! It is amazing how fast they change. Hope to see her in person soon! Will you be coming to Easter at Grandma's next week?
