We once again took full advantage of staying in the hospital and having all the extra help. We got as much sleep as we could while still getting plenty of bonding time with Kipton. We wanted Macayla to be the first to meet Kipton so we called and told my mom to bring her around 11:00. They stayed for a very short time but the video we got is priceless.
After about 2 days I started to get a headache. Initially we thought it may be allergy/sinus related but I knew to keep an eye on it from the last time. The day before I left the hospital I knew it was the starting of a spinal headache. I was fine lying down but as soon as I sat up the pain was intense. The nurse agreed and got a blood patch arranged for me. I didn't want to wait until it was unbearable like the last time. I was given a blood patch (NOT a pleasant experience) and the headache went away.
Overall the time in the hospital went very quickly.
