20 Weeks! Half way there...
It is very hard to believe that I am half way completed with my pregnancy and am feeling great! We were supposed to have our ultrasound yesterday but they had to cancel and reschedule. The new date is next Thursday afternoon.

Florida over Christmas Break
This year for Christmas we joined 20+ of my family members in Fort Myer's Beach, FL. This has been a very special place for me growing up. My grandparents started going there for the winter the year I was born. I was extremely fortunate to be able to visit every year of my life up until I was about 22/23 years old. If anyone were to ask me what my favorite place to visit is, that would be it! So I was more than excited when my grandma offered to host Christmas down there for all my aunts, uncles and cousins.
Despite some disappointing weather we had a great time! Jason and a group took a day trip to Tampa and went to Busch Gardens, we had some shopping excursions, took a day trip to Sanibel Island for lunch and were able to have a few beach days.
Macayla loved everything about the trip! She did incredible on the plane ride...well for an almost 2 year old that is! She didn't really fuss, just was very busy and couldn't keep still. Having my parents with on the plane was very helpful. We were able to take a few short breaks from her wiggling. Macayla loved the ocean, beach and pool. Even when she was turning blue from being in the pool so long she cried when we tried to get her out! What was nice was having my cousins' kids around so she was always entertained. Unfortunately Macayla's "mine" was perfected on the trip, but I guess that comes with her age!
Baby Kicks!
At the beginning of this week I started questioning if I was feeling the flutter of early on baby kicks. By Thursday (1/6/11) it was clear that I was feeling the baby kick! I have forgotten what a cool feeling it is!
